 Library/Research Room and Artefacts Store

The John Malin Library/Research Room holds the society's main archive. Access to the library can be arranged for research into ancestry and other topics. Open on Thursdays between 2pm and 4pm; we recommend that you make an appointment and discuss your requirements with the Curator - Roger Thornburgh (01386 701235).

Non-members who are contemplating using the Society's research facilities should discuss their requirements with the Curator in advance.  The Heritage Centre also has a store of local artefacts which are not generally viewable but are used in our occasional exhibitions.
